Pinellas Park, Florida
Located in Pinellas County, Pinellas Park is the fourth-largest city and is part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan Area, commonly known as the Tampa Bay Area. Incorporated in 1914, the city has a rich history and continues to grow.
Transmap has successfully completed five projects in Pinellas Park. In 2018, we undertook a major project covering 350 miles of data collection. We developed a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for future planning. Our commitment also included providing Pavement Boot Camp training on our PAVER software. The data collected during the project included detailed asset extraction of signs, sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, pavement striping, and markings.
In 2020, we returned to provide additional training on Pavement and Asset Management Systems for city employees. This collaboration led to a 2022 contract for a comprehensive inspection of 350 miles of roadway, a 5-year work plan update, and data input into the PAVER system. By 2024, we were excited to finalize a 10-year Master Services Agreement (Engineering) with the city.
