Commerce City, Colorado
Commerce City, located in Adams County just north of Denver, is part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood Metropolitan Area. Known for its blend of industrial zones and residential neighborhoods, Commerce City is also home to Dick's Sporting Goods Park, where the Colorado Rapids MLS team plays.
In 2018, Transmap was hired to inspect 721 miles of pavement in Commerce City. The data was formatted to ASTM D6433 standards, and we created a Pavement Condition Index map for the city. Additionally, we conducted a Pavement Boot Camp to train city workers on our PAVER software. All collected data was integrated into the PAVER system, leading to the development of a comprehensive Pavement report, complete with budget scenarios.
We returned in 2023 to collect data for 723 miles of roadway, once again meeting ASTM D6433 standards. The updated data was uploaded into the PAVER system, and we developed a new 5-year work plan. The asset extraction included crosswalks, markings, striping, signs, sidewalks, and ADA ramps.
