Kettering, Ohio

Kettering is an inner suburb of Dayton, located in Montgomery County, Ohio. In the 2020 census, the population was 57,862, making it the most populous suburb in the Dayton metropolitan area.

Kettering joined the Transmap community in 2012 after were awarded a contract for a pavement project. In 2014 we returned to complete and asset extraction project. By 2016, we were re-engaged to extract data, focusing on traffic signs, bike signs, pavement markings, striping, and curbs.

In 2020, we secured an expanded contract to perform a pavement analysis covering 615 miles, adhering to ASTM D6433 standards. We developed a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) map. We integrated all data into the PAVER system, using the data to create a five-year work plan for the city. In 2024, we again gathered pavement data over 639 miles, ensuring all data complied with ASTM D6433 standards.
